We are launching a youth shooting "league". What's a shooting league you may ask. Well, this is an opportunity for youth (ages 8-17) to learn basic rifle skills and increase their marksmanship skills.
Members of the league will go through the NRA Basic Rifle course, earning a basic practical rocker patch and certificate. Members will also receive a NRA/Winchester Marksmanship Rimfire Patch and Skill level patch and certificate.
Scores will be kept at each meeting and the scored targets will allow the members to work their way up the skill levels of the NRA/Winchester Marksmanship Program.
Meetings will take place monthly or bi-weekly at the Generations Shooting Sports private range. We will be shooting .22 rimfire rifles only to begin. The initial registration fee is $25, that includes the NRA student packet, patches, certificates and instruction.
